How Euclid began
Euclid SA was founded in 2015 by a group of trading experts with over 100 years of combined experience across Risk, Finance, and Operations.
Having previously created sophisticated CTRM platforms used by major global commodity trading firms operating in Geneva, the founding team sought to push the industry forward.
Their goal was to embed this deep functional expertise into a solution that embodied the latest technological advancements and an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.
They recognised, however, that dominant legacy platforms were becoming rigid and resource-intensive. These systems often trapped clients in restrictive ecosystems, limiting control over their own data and strategic direction.
Euclid was created to offer something radically different: a platform that is flexible by design, fully transparent, and engineered to handle complex, real-world trading scenarios, all while ensuring clients retain total sovereignty over their data and infrastructure.

25+ years in CTRM. Co-founder of the Nova trading system and Gunvor's Head of IT for a decade, he went on to build Euclid and bring private AI into the operational core of commodity trading.
