Cookie & privacy policy

  1. Our commitment to sovereignty

At Euclid, we believe that data sovereignty is not just a feature; it is a fundamental right of trading organisations. Unlike traditional SaaS providers that aggregate and monetise user data, our business model is built on isolation and privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how Euclid Trading Systems (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our marketing website and how we define our relationship with data stored within the Euclid CTRM Platform.

  1. The distinction: website vs. platform

To ensure transparency, we distinguish between two types of data interactions:

A. Marketing website (public)

When you visit www.euclidts.com, we collect standard visitor data to measure engagement and manage demo requests. This is the only environment where standard tracking (cookies) occurs.

B. The Euclid CTRM platform (private)

When you use the Euclid software (on-premises or private cloud), we act as the processor, and you are the controller.

  • No data mining: We do not mine, aggregate, or sell your trading data.

  • No “shared” AI training: Your proprietary data is never used to train models for other clients.

  • Local processing: All AI computations occur within your designated infrastructure.

  1. Data we collect (marketing website)

We collect information to facilitate communication and improve our website experience:

  • Personal information: Name, email address, company name, phone number, and job title when you voluntarily fill out a “Request a Demo” or “Contact Us” form.

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and operating system via standard web logs.

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on site, and click-through rates.

  1. How we use your data

We use the data collected from the Marketing Website solely for:

  • Communication: Responding to inquiries and scheduling demos.

  • Optimisation: Improving website performance and user experience.

  • Legitimate interest: Sending relevant product updates (you may opt out at any time).

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

  1. The “local AI” & data sovereignty clause

This section governs the use of Euclid AI within the CTRM platform. Unlike public AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) that process data on external servers, Euclid AI is architected for privacy:

  1. Local ingestion: When you upload documents (PDFs, emails) to the platform, they are processed locally by OCR and LLM instances running on your infrastructure. Files are not sent to third-party API endpoints.

  2. Private fine-tuning: Any fine-tuning of the AI model is specific to your instance. Your data does not improve the “general intelligence” of the Euclid model used by other clients.

  3. Isolation: Your database and AI vector store are logically and/or physically isolated from all other tenants.

  1. Cookie policy

We use cookies on our marketing website to understand how visitors interact with our content. We classify cookies into three categories:

  1. Essential cookies

Necessary for the website to function (e.g., security tokens, load balancing). These cannot be switched off.

B. Analytics cookies

These allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. All data is aggregated and anonymised.

C. Functional cookies

Used to remember your preferences (such as language settings) or to prevent bots on contact forms (e.g., CAPTCHA).

You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies. However, some parts of the site may not function properly if you block strictly necessary cookies.

  1. Data storage & transfer

  • Website data: Marketing leads and website analytics are stored on secure servers located in Switzerland.

  • Platform data (private cloud): If you choose our Swiss private cloud hosting, your data resides in tier-IV data centres located exclusively within Switzerland.

  • Platform data (on-premises): If you choose on-premises deployment, your data resides entirely on your own servers. Euclid has no remote access to this data unless explicitly granted via a support tunnel for maintenance.

  1. Your rights (GDPR & Swiss FADP)

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.

  • Erasure: Request the deletion of your data (“Right to be forgotten”).

  • Restriction: Restrict how we process your data.

  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at: contact@euclidts.com

  1. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to external sites (e.g., LinkedIn, industry news). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites.
